Gordon Fitzgerald

Gordon has extensive experience in all areas of human resources law including human rights, WSIB, collective bargaining, and occupational health & safety issues.
Gordon Fitzgerald is a mediator, facilitator, and labour and employment lawyer. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2000. Gordon has extensive experience in all areas of human resources law including human rights, WSIB, collective bargaining, and occupational health & safety issues. After practicing with one of Canada’s leading labour and employment law firms, Gordon worked in-house in both the private and public sectors before commencing a dedicated mediation practice at Fitzgerald Dispute Resolution.
In his previous leadership roles, Gordon has alternately served as Legal Counsel or as Director of Labour Relations for such large organizations as Loblaw Companies Limited, LCBO, Rouge Valley Health System, and Lakeridge Health.
Much of Gordon’s career has focused on union-management dynamics, where he acquired extensive experience resolving complex disputes involving multiple parties and competing interests. He has a solid reputation for resolving disputes without recourse to litigation and has always maintained excellent professional relations with representatives from all points along the employment spectrum.
